The National Aquarium is a Baltimore Inner Harbor Favorite.
Baltimore's Aquarium provides a fun and educational visit for all! Anchored on Inner Harbor, this fish aficionado's delight is located within the triangular glass building that remains a familiar sight along the Baltimore waterfont. Each of the four levels of the museum showcases marine mammals, amphibians, birds and fish.

The aquarium features dolphin performances, over 10, 000 sea creatures, rain forest with exotic birds, dart frogs, live piranhas and a running stream, a petting area, a coral reef exhibit, and much more. The Shark pool offers visitors a close view of the sharks as they swim about. A genuine treat for the entire family!
The National Aquarium in Baltimore is perhaps the greatest attraction in Baltimore's celebrated Inner Harbor waterfront, and shows that the city really knows how to present fish in ways other than filleted and broiled. The exhibits start small with samples of marine life from local waters, but visitors soon find themselves eye-to-eye with sharks, rays, and other very large creatures. A simulated rainforest ecosystem, and regularly scheduled dolphin shows round out the attractions. Admission is [relatively] high, and the wait can be long, but both are worth it.
